“Chanting Clears the Mind & Revitalises the Spirit”
Chanting sacred words raises our vibration and when this is done in a group setting the effects are magnified.
Chanting can provide several physical benefits including giving us more energy, lowering stress & anxiety, reducing blood pressure and assisting with overcoming addictions and depression.
Please join us for an afternoon of chanting and discussions and discover the benefits yourself.
We host monthly chanting on the first Sunday of each month from 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
Govinda leads us in the chanting accompanied by Manu on percussion.
To listen to chanting sample Click Here.
We end the session with a home baked afternoon tea for a $2.50 donation.
We meet at Virginia Todd Hall, 9-15 Clarence Street, Geelong West

2019 Annual Retreat – “Inner Mindfulness Retreat”
19 – 20 October 2019
Our retreat this year will be held at Coastal Forest Lodge in Anglesea.
Coastal Forest Lodge is a beautiful 196 acre property just off the Great Ocean Road, 6km before Angelsea. Coastal Forest Lodge is set in a pristine rural & natural bush environment with abundant wildlife, a friendly petting paddock, beautiful bushwalks & a spectacular wedge-tailed eagles nest.
The special en suite cabins were host to athletes at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. All accommodation is clean & in excellent condition. Coastal Forest Lodge is well kept with a bright & vibrant feel.
The theme for this year is “Inner Mindfulness” and this retreat will provide you with the opportunity to switch off from your daily busy life and turn your attention inwards.
During the retreat you will enjoy vegetarian meals, meditation, workshops, discourses, japa walks and chanting sessions. We will also be celebrating Diwali on Saturday evening.
The retreat energy and environment will allow you to become more aware of your thoughts and self. In this safe environment and with like-minded people you will have the opportunity to reflect and grow spiritually.
